About Us

Hello! My name is Mrs. Rees, and I’m thrilled to be teaching another year of kindergarten! I attended Brigham Young University–Idaho, and I absolutely love guiding young learners as they take on new challenges, build new skills, and celebrate their growth every step of the way. My goal is to create a fun, safe, and inclusive classroom where every student feels valued, supported, and encouraged.

I absolutely love the joy, wonder, and enthusiasm kindergartners bring as they explore the world around them. It’s a privilege to be part of their learning journey and to support them in reaching their fullest potential.

I’m a proud Las Vegas native. When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband and our two fantastic kids. Our family also includes a playful mini Goldendoodle named Ella, who loves to chase butterflies. Some of my favorite hobbies include reading, fitness, and baking. I’ll admit, I have a soft spot for See’s Candy, Sweet Tart Ropes and Diet Coke!

I feel truly honored to be part of the Quest community and look forward to another fantastic school year.

Hi! My name is Mrs. Mercedez and I’m so excited to be joining the Quest family as a kindergarten TA for Mrs. Rees! I am currently enrolled in Western Governors University and am working on getting a bachelor's degree in elementary education, and I’m so happy to get the opportunity to be directly involved with helping your children learn and grow.

I have an amazing family that consists of my husband, Andrew, my two daughters, Brielle and Layla, and three amazing pups. I’m a huge outdoors fan so I love camping, hiking, swimming, and kayaking/paddle boarding! I also love running and have participated in the Ogden marathon for the last two years. Some other things I enjoy are cooking, reading, game and movie nights with my family, and traveling. A couple of my favorite treats are Coke Zero and Snickers.

I have always enjoyed helping children learn new things and reach their full potential, whether it was through me being a volunteer for teachers or substituting. I know that your kids are going to accomplish great things and that we’re going to have so much fun this school year!
